but we had a praladha experiance the other day, when oneo f the students( non devotee) brought in his banjo and sung tha maha mantra for a couple of minutes and had everyone joining in and claping,, until our evil teacher stoped us..
hah.

Yes! I think the criticisms of feminisms are the most important and interesting parts of it, its how the movement, self awareness, etc. is brought to a higher level. In the 80s minority women were all pissed cuz white women were the universal woman and their needs were unconcerned, only then did race, gender, and class all intertwine in feminist ideologies, in effect, like you were saying, earlier, feminists were recreating that which they wanted to get rid of (in this case, hierarchies: men on top, then white women on top).
